Jason was educated at the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. While a Broadway actor in New York and on tour throughout the country, Jason frequently taught a range of workshops and master classes from tap dance intensives to scene study courses. Since he and his wife Jackie have relocated to the South Florida area, he has consistently coached high school juniors and seniors, helping them to fine-tune monologues and musical repertoire, and advising them for college auditions. His students have recently been accepted to such prestigious college programs as Carnegie Mellon University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, NYU, and Boston Conservatory. Jason is also a regular instructor for the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, continually working with students aged eight to eighteen on scene work and choreography. In the fall of 2010, Jason and his wife created an intensive four-week Musical Theatre Audition Techniques course for students aged thirteen and older in the Palm Beach area. As instructors, they helped students to explore and learn new musical theatre repertoire while coaching them to perform their pieces in a major audition setting.
